Olive’s Hope Pet Rescue, a 501c3 corporation, is an all-breed, no-kill rescue group, governed by a group of dedicated dog lovers who are experienced in rescue, training and animal care. We believe that every animal deserves to live free from neglect and abuse. Our efforts include rescuing from local shelters and fostering until suitable homes can be found. We promote community spay and neuter awareness and provide access and transport to low cost spay and neuter programs.
We administer the website miamicountylostdog.com to assist those who have lost/found pets in our area. This free resource includes a place to post lost or found animals, helpful hints on finding your pet, and list of impounding jurisdictions and their phone numbers.
Our directors and volunteers are diverse in their professions and interests, and include a professional dog trainer, an educator, a nurse, a former animal control officer, a city official and local business owners.. As a group, we have been advocates for homeless pets for many years.
Although we are located in Louisburg, Kansas we also provide dog and cat rescue and adoption support for all of Miami county. If you would like to add your talents to helping homeless pets in the area, please feel free to contact us at any time.
